Would this concept interest anyone?

Basically it's a hose that has a nitrous hose on one end, and a tire filler nozzle on the other end.

If you happen to have a bottle in your trunk instead of a spare, you still can fill your flat tire, using nitrous. :dunno:

Any market for this item amonst ya'll? I just had a flat today and luckily, my friend was close to ship my arse :booty: to the auto parts store to commondere an air compressor.

Great idea as long as you had a can or two of fix a flat on you. Also, nitrous is not flammable so this would be totally safe. If you build it, people will buy it.

Well techically but it reseases the oxygen at 550 so I would have "concerns"

you will have a hard time finding a tire chuck, that will accept 1100 psi on the pressure end.

I have a trunk mounted air compressor, under my stealth box, and a 20' air hose from a pontiac bonneville that screws into a schrader valve in the drain plug , so im not a potential customer ;) but it sounds like a cool idea.

Mosst people don't have a compressor mounted in their car, like me, but after having it in my bonneville, i loved that feature, so i kept the hose, and used an old compressor :) Used it for everything from drag radials, to basketballs, to bike tires

slow can we see some pics of your setup.

Would the n20 stay liquid form going from the bottle to the tire?

Nitrous is by no means flamable by itself. When mixed with fuel it has a much more dense charge of air causing a much higher rate of cumbustion thus increasing cylinder pressure and making more power. You could aim a nitrous bottle at an open flame and it would blow the flame out, not ignite it. The only difference between the automotive grade of nitrous and medical grade is the addition of sulfer and that is just to deter people huffing it. The medical grade is used to relax you, they would not have you injest a flamable gas.

Even if it worked fine, most would still thinks its a bad idea cause it N20. Plus i think you'd need a regulator
I hated it when i had to fill 16 bottles a day for work. Its not cause its N20, but 1450psi no matter what it is, it still hurts
