i noticed when turned my heater/ac on, it only blows through the defrost vents. i just had heads/cam installed, so could something they have done affected it?

The vents are vacuum controlled. You may have a loose vacuum line.

ditto, there are some lines behind the intake, it is very common for them to be disconnected, kinked, and will cause this problem.

when i put on my FRC's i pulled a vaccum line on the passenger side.. it's hardly noticable and doesn't make a 'suction' noise...

DEFINITELY a vaccuum leak i say

like they all have said, lose line.
Have you had any type of work done recently (stereo, Nos etc)
that had someone under the dash or hood?

I would bet that during one of them you pulled one of the hoses off. :yup:

can someone show me a picture of what the hose looks like and where it goes? :dunno:

Sorry, I can't. But tracing them from the firewall should net you the location of the disconnection location.

The A/C vac line runs from the back of the intake to a "T" by the PCM, where it runs down the pass side wiring harness through the engine compartment down by the pass side headlight.

That's the line that controls the vents. Check that line and I bet you find the problem.

Good luck,
