for a 220-224 duration cam do you need to change the rear gear ration or is 3.42 in a M6 enough? 3.23 in a A4?

"need to" ..... depends what you are doing with the car .... with a cam change and higher gears say 3.73 or 4.10 and you spend a lot of time at the strip you will definately need some sticky tires or your launch will be a slippery one.... and then you will need a bullet proof rear end or BOOM :D ... but "need to" no .....

I changed back to my 3.42 after learning the hard way that the 4.11 is to low for everyday driving. My car has a 224 cam installed with m6.:)
