Alright, I feel dumb for asking, but I would like to know what exactly is going on. I know I need to get a new fuel pump (and would like suggestions too).
My fuel pressure, regardless of if the engine is running (which it only does for a few seconds) or sitting with the ignition on, will jump back and forth between 5 and 8 psi (it's always 3psi jump regardless of where I set it).

Holley Street Avenger 670cfm carb
I'm taking the fuel pressure from the gauge on the fuel rail at the carb.
I'm considering getting the Holley Blue electric fuel pump (110GPH low pressure), but will read what you guys have to say before making my purchase. Thanks!
