Can you tell if a Blower is ported?

Roomate wants to port the blower on his Lightning through Champion, but it's still under warranty. Supposedly they do a super clean job, but my ? is will the guys at Ford be able to tell the blower was ported, if they were ever tearing down the motor?

Yeah they could definatly tell. Have him ask at http://www.nloc.net/forum/ and they should have pics of both a stock blower and an apten ported blower.
