Ok, assuming two things.
1.) That you find a used LS1 and T-56 transmission (Full dropout, wiring harness, ECM, everything) for less than $5000.
2.) That it passes a compression test and vaccuum test.
3.) That the project car already has a 4th gen dash and console. (Not sure that this will help other than for the guages and stuff.)
What is it going take in terms of dollars to swap this into a 3rd gen Camaro RS? I have the 305-5speed now.
I know the crossmember has to be notched and that you have to have a fuel pressure regulator. I have no clue what the electronics side will require.
Another part of this question is will my rear end hold up to the power of the LS1 or do I need to go with something stronger?
