I finally got my nitrous system done the other day and I was out trying it out. Well the thing won't spray...:(

I tried several things and the problem is I'm not getting power to my soleniods. At first all my tests included the Window Switch in the setup......well today I decided to just bypass the Window Switch and just run a ground to that particular post on my relay.....AND THE SUCKER WORKED!!!!!!

So I rigged it back up with my Window Switch in place and now I'm not getting power to my solenoids...

This MSD switch is brand new!!!!! I mean it's been on the car a few months while I have been slowly getting my nitrous install done, but this was the first time I had tried to spray...

Is this common??? I had never even heard of a story of a bad switch???

Are you sure you hooked it up right?

yep everything is hooked up exactly like it says in TNT's instructions. Also last night I checked out another guys nitrous setup and he had everything just like mine and his worked fine.

And like I said the system will work if I just run it off a WOT switch. But when I throw the Window Switch into the equation the kit won't function...:(

Is it already converted to use the LS1's square wave tach signal?
My new one wouldn't work until I had it converted. From people I talked to, for some it works on some LS1's without a problem, others...

Are you using a W0T switch?

I had the SAME problem and it was because I had the wiring messed up to the w0t switch. There are 3 'prongs' on top and you have to use the back two...I was using the front 2.

Yeah I am using a WOT switch. The thing is when I set it up without the Window Switch the WOT switch works fine. I can arm the system and hit the WOT switch manually and the nitrous/fuel blows out great. But when I rig up the Window Switch the thing doesn't work.:( :(

Where did you get the window switch from.

If you haven't already done it, you need to cut the 2 wires (as shown in the instructions) to put it in 4 cyl mode.

I got it from TByrne....I hope they will take it back after all this time. I bought it back in like October or November. I just took a loooong time getting all my nitrous shit installed...

Well at first I forgot to cut the 2 wires. But then I realized they needed to be cut and I cut them. Even then the thing won't work...:(

But I think I might not be getting a signal from my tach wire. Cuz now my shift light isn't coming on like it should.

I am heading to San Antonio today for a few weeks so I will mess with it when I get back.....

If your light is not working properly check the tach lead connectiona and make sure the pills are pushed all the way in.
