i know there is a way to hook up your radio controls on your steering wheel to an aftermarket cd player, but those it work good? i asked the car install guy at best buy and he said they don't carry or install the extra part to hook it up to the wheel controls because they don't really work well. is this true? anyone have an aftermarket hooked up to the wheel?

HAHA see that is why I love best buy. Dude if you can get cheaper products at best buy go for it but their installers are stupid. There is a company that makes this piece. Go www.installer.com and click on the installation accessories tab scroll down and you will see the part called PESWIX we sell it for 79.95 most places sell it for 100 dollars. Also just a little extra to throw in I put this in Jeff Bagwell (baseball player for houston astros) H2 Hummer and it worked like a charm. I have also done it on cars like BMW Nissan Honda and Fords. So yes it will work have fun
