I could probably spray a Honda Civic with a 200 shot once with no problem. Consistency is the key

There are people who run up to 15 psi with consistency too! I know it is hard to believe that it is not made by the same people who make the 03 Cobra motor, but it can take that amount of boost very regularly!:yup:

That link isn't working.:o
It's crazy to think of a 15psi daily driver. The stock pistons just can't take that kind of pressure.
Reality is more like 8.5psi max.

The link works for me! I am talking about the block when I say 15 psi! Not the stock pistons and rods. ;)

stock block can hold up to 24 lbs. The stock cast pistons can hold about 7-9 psi on a really conservative tune.
People can have stock blocks and forged rods/pistons so you must be specific if you're asking about the pistons/rods or just the block alone.

personally I would not run more than 9 lbs on a stock block if I wanted the motor to last....but that's just me. Some have run more without any probs, and some have run less with major probs....so take your chances ;)

intake pressure is not directly related to power handling capability.
