For all of you Vette fenatics start saving your money now. You will want to buy the 2006 Z06. I have it on good authority that it will be the car that GM is going after the Viper with. Though I'm not at liberty to quote HP #'s, it will be 500+. How do I know? I spoke with a guy that works in engineering for GM in the new projects dept.

Sorry, but all of us F-Body guys are SOL. There are currently no plans or talks going on about bringing either of the F-Body's back.

I said, it would be nice to see an LS1 powered Monte Carlo (Nascar Edition), with rear wheel drive, 6 speed, and true dual exhaust. The reply was, don't be surprised if you see it. There are talks of that going around.

#1: Your about 6 months too late on the 500hp Z06
#2: There is a Camaro or Chevy coupe coming back. Hell, its already been designed. Trust me on that one.
#3: There will be no LS1 powerd MC for the shear point that the LS1 is basicly on its way out. Enter the Gen IV and the LS2. If anything, it will get the 5.3 that the Grand Prix is getting next year. The MC is also on its way out.

Latest Car and Driver quotes Lutz as saying the new Zeta WILL NOT spawn a camaro....so what will it be built on?
If its not gone for good, it'll be a LONG time before we see an fbody...

that was before Ste.T plant was destroyed. Now that the plant is gone, the Camaro is set to come on in.

the camaro has to come back it is GM's finest example of an affordable sports car yeas there is the corvette but comon is that really affourdable to the average person well iin my case i dont think so it is the thrid most reconized name in automotives i dont think it will be gone forever nonne the less much longer:D

Excited to know that the upcoming C6 ZO6 Vette will have 500 HP.:D If I decide to get the new Vette it will have to be the next ZO6.

If Chevy does get a affordable high performance RW Drive Sports Car with a high performance V8 motor I hope it will be the return of the Camaro.:)
