I was wondering if the exhaust pipes can be ceramic coated, like headers.

I'm not sure why you'd want to though  not much to be gained from it powerwise, and the catback isnt hot enough to cause any damage to underbody components.

The Hooker cat-backs are made of Aluminized steel. Supposedly, it is pretty resistant to corrosion and rust. I have Jet Hot Mac mids going in soon, and I figure I might as well make it look right.
Anyone know about how much it would cost to have this done?

I think for the cost of the hooker, plus getting it all coated (300$+) you could get a corsa, borla, or b&b, and have stainless, or get a magnaflow for 300$ or so, it's stainless as well. coatings can take a beating, and will wear off over time.. stainless steel wont lose it's corrosion resistance

yeah, I really like the sound of Hooker, even though it will be more $$ to get a Hooker coated than it would to buy a Magnaflow. Plus, I already have the Hooker system.
I've heard that almost every other cat back sounds like shit when you have a cam and headers, that was why I chose to go with Hooker.

there are just as many people that will argue that hooker sounds like shit, but that goes back to the personal preference thing. besides, even when coated on the outside, it could still rust from the inside.

it would be a waste of money, you wouldnt see any mentionable gains in hp or e.t. and you wouldnt be able to tell a differance in sound...not sure why you would want to drop the money in it?
