Is the vararam system easy to put in yourself???

and what is a good choice for cat-back systems????

I figure they are all about the same but what are you guys running.?? anybody running the hooker cat-back?

var ram isnt too bad as long as u have patience it takes a little bit to do maybe 2 hours max.

all car backs are pretty good

borla stingers are popular as well as GHL and B&B systems

all depends on how loud u want it :D

It is not too difficult to install if you've done a little wrenching yourself. Just take your time and do it right.

All cat-back's sound different. They will all free up some HP for you. I have found that the best thing to do is go to a Corvette event, or Corvette car show and listen to some exhausts. Most Corvette guys are more than happy to fire it up for you or take you for a spin.

If your motor is stock, make sure their car is stock as well. A cam or headers will obviously make it sound more wicked.

Even listening to a "sound file" won't tell you anything because the sound can be dramatically different based on microphone placement.

But, the most popular exhaust for "sound" appears to be the Stinger exhaust.
