View Full Version : Computer for TPI??

Anyone know a company that makes a computer for tpi engines that can be hooked up to a laptop? Will the stock one work?? Trying to find out for a friend that has tpi on a 383 stroker. :)

Have you read anything in the thirdgen.org forums? Here is a direct link to the forum that you might want to read up on. Pretty much anything and everything you wanted to know is either in the active forum or in their archive.

Accel DFI and Big Stuff 3 are a couple.

I have a haltech, it plug directly in to the factory harness,you have to relocate two wires in harness ,and phase the distributer in and you are ready to tune.costs about $700.

I am using ECM GM p/n 1227730 (replaced by 16198262) with chip no.16134297 (ANHT, 90 Corvette). I use software from TTS Power Systems (there is free stuff around) and I data log with a scanner. I couldn't afford the big buck stuff and this setup works well for me.
