Conversion? Transplant?

[LS2 V8 Miata]

Well, it's not really a transplant like my LS2 V8 Miata but I thought you guys would find it quite interesting anyway. It's a cammed 2006 Corvette LS2 (F-body accessories to save space) in my son-in-law's Sandcar. He built the car by himself in about two weeks from a manufacturer's bare steel chassis and control arms.

A different LS2 eh?

We're a family of Zonies, he's in Gilbert along with all my other kids and grandkids and the wife and I live in Prescott.

They love the Dunes, I love Auto-cross and Roadracing at PIR and Firebird (used to be my favorite before it closed, Arizona Motorsports Park) with NASA, SCCA, ASRA and ProAutosports, all real good people, great fun!

Most of my Miata pictures are old, they show the used 2000 Corvette LS1 and T-56. The car has been torn down, with everything new from bushings on up and a new 2006 Corvette LS2 is going in.

It's about 60 % completed and I'll post updated pictures in the future.
