I had a chance to drive my brothers Z06 on Wednesday night. He has Stainless Works Headers - GHL Exhaust - High Flow Cats and
some other tweaks including LS1 edit tuning. He has run 11.7 @ 120 at the track with this car.
My impressions of the car are as follows. Acceleration is unbelieveable. The car is ready to pounce at a moments notice.We were actually buzzed by a Dodge SRT 4 but we didn't or at least I couldn't due to traffic do anything about it. My brother encouraged me to really put the car through its paces, especially the brakes. He said" Get up to about 50 (making sure no cars were behind us) and mash the brakes as hard as you can. Wow!!. The brakes on his car are very impressive. The stopping power especially the first bite of the brakes is incredible.
I love the sound of the new exhaust and Header combo. No Drone at all. The car has a nice exotic like scream at WOT. His shifter is the Aftermarket Hurst for the Vette. Very stiff feel but I started to get used to it after a while.
I believe the next mod to come is a cam. I will be looking forward to taking that puppy out once that is completed. Thanks Bro.
