CRAP!!

That says it all in one word. First problem was that it was missing all of the nuts. So I have bolts, but no nuts.... uhhh. Off to Lowes to get new nuts and bolts, the bolts they went had a screwy thread pitch. Anyway, the bottom part wouldnt fit between my SLP SFC's, that wasn't too bad, just broke out the reciprocating saw and fixed that. So I put the bottom cross member in and then slid the upper loop part in and it won't slide forward enough to bolt in. So a little wiggling and wobbling nad it lined up, but it touches my BMR torque arm. The problem isnt that it is too small up by the torque arm, the problem is that the piece of metal where the loop hooks to the cross member is crooked. So it sits higher in the rear and lower in the front. Guess where it hits the torque arm? The front hits the torque arm, so I tried to beat the crap out of it with a hammer to straighten it, but it is not happening. So, right now I just have a really expensive crossmember, until I can figure out how to bend the one part back to make it fit again. I guess if my car was stock I wouldnt have a problem installing it, but how many people with a stock car are looking for a driveshaft safety loop.

Get one from someone else, save yourself the trouble!
