Ok, I'm in the process of looking for a good clutch that is going to hold a decent amount of HP. I've decided on the Spec Stage 3. This may be a little overkill now, but I plan on going BIG with my V6, so it may be of use later.
Anyways, there's not too many knowledgeable V6 people in my area, and all the 98-00 V8 guys have to replace the hydraulics in their tranny's to the 01-02 hydraulics to run the Spec clutches in their T-56 6 speeds. Does anyone know if this is also necessary in the V6 T-5 5-speed trannies?? I've looked all over the net and the only updated hydraulics I can find are on LS1Speed.com for the LS1 and 6-speed equipped cars. Anyone know about putting the Spec Stage 3 in a T-5 and whether or not the hydraulics (master and slave cylinders) need replaced??
