How many feet

How many feet of pawer wire do I need if I want to run it from the battery to the very back of the car. I can't remember how much I used when i ran mine, and don't want to take it out now to measure...

I believe it should be somewhere around 15'-18'

I think its 16', but I just got 18' incase.

20 will give you working room. 17 is cutting it close.

F-body's we always used 17' it is perfect and you only waist about 8 "

amatures need more for fuckup and mysterious routing room ;)

I actually only used about 15'. I routed straight back from the battery, through the grommet behind the PCM, underneath the carpet along the door sill and back to the spare tire well where my amp resides. Fairly easy installation and I just had to take out the PCM and passenger seat (I dont have back seats).:p

BTW, I am an amatuer.

see i left the seat in, and have the amp on a amprack at the back. gotta add a few feet there. i did go through the PCM grommet. but i pushed it back out of the way as much as possible everywhere, so i used up more wire that way.

I bought 20 and am using all 20 because i have it rigged but today i am getting my amp rack mounted on the back wall so i can trim off about 3 feet so i would say 18 to be safe.
