Ok here is the deal. I dropped my 02 v6 camaro off at the dealership to check the brakes. The car was pulling a little when I was braking. Also the sterring wheel and shifter were shaking quite a bit at the end of 4th, begining of 5th. They take it out and tell me the whole brake system needs to be replaced, and the rear differential $550+. I know nothing about the mechanics side of my car. I know the electrical system like the back of my hand however.

So my question, Does this sound resonable for replacing the brakes and diferential? Any other ideas would be great.

I'll also save someone the trouble of adding :newbie:

Sounds about right. Actually that's pretty cheap if they are replacing, not resurfacing, all the rotors alone.
Rear Diff I have not Idea about, sorry.

Dealer brake job with new rotors sounds about right. As for the diff. They want to replace it? What do they say the problem with the diff. is?

they said that the shaking was because of rear diff was not working? they want to replace the whole thing.
