how to change fog lights

just like the title says, how do you change the fog lights on a trans am? I got new fog lights but dont have a clue how to get the old ones out.

Are you changing the full fog light assembly or just the bulbs??

Bulbs are easy. You can either go through the access panel under the bumper or from the top. For the top, I took off the plastic piece around the headlights and slid my arm down until I reached the bulbs.

I have a write-up somewhere for the assembly. I will look for it if you need it.

If you are just replacing the bulbs then, reach down in front of the washer bottle and twist the connector out of the foglights.

It is easier to have the lights up to give you more room.
it is a 1/4 turn socket. and wear hospital or food prep gloves ( I asked the girl at subway for a pair :) ) the oil in your skin will cause it to blow if you touch it.

takes about 5 Min to both after you have done it the first time.

If you are changing out the entire units, let me know. I have some nice pics and a writeup to follow...make sure you don't NUKE the housings/wiring by putting a higher wattage bulb in there!!!
