SO I put the kit on my car yesterday!!!
Go out on a test run and it works GREAT...75shot and you can really feel it hit.
'Test it' a few more times then go head out to my car clubs meet.

I go take a friend for a ride, hit the kit and NOTHING happens...Get off the kit and the gas and then the motor kinda surges up and then down and then I just shut it off...Here this HISSSSSSSSSSS....I get out of the car and see nitrous coming from out of the Ram Air scoop and the right headlight...RUN to the back off the car and shut off the bottle.

WAIT.

A long time...

Then I go turn the engine back on and it starts up NORMAL....didnt blow the intake off or anything...

So now I wanna run two solenoids in series...Anyone else do this???
Did the surging hurt my engine? Its not showing any codes, runs fine, seems normal, sounds ok....Lemme know what you think!

How much pressure was in the bottle when you sprayed? You can run two solenoids in parallel, NOS actually set up their 5177 like this.

Bottle Pressure was right around 900 maybe less....

The reason for running 2 in LINE of each other is that if one sticks open, the other would still hopefully close...

Usually when you have a stuck solenoid like that there's a reason. I had the same problem which ended up being some debris in the lines, bottle, whereever it came from which is one reason why it's vital that you should run an N2O Filter. My noid only lasted about 20-25 passes without the filter... got about 75 passes with the filter and no problem. It's most likely there wasn't any damage from it sticking open as long as you weren't on it at the time. with the butterfly's closed you're ok.

My motor cracked a piston when the n20 solenoid stuck open. You might of been lucky.
