This guy I work with is a second generation wheeler/dealer, as in he and his father are always finding neat stuff cheap and reselling for profit. Well two weekends ago they go to a guys house to look at a freakin cement mixer, the kind ya tow behind a pickup truck. Sitting in this guys driveway is a 68 Firebird, outside uncovered. It had been restored a few years ago and it just sits there. The guy said he'd let it go for $12,000, :eek: . So they get to lookin around and under a "leantoo" type deal is another 67 Firebird under a tarp. The guy uncovers it and its a 326, powerglide convertable! Its complete and needs restored. The guy said he'd let it go for $2500. If it was me I would have so OK but my friend and his dad kept tryin to lowball the guy offering $1800. The guy wont go any lower than $2500 so they didnt buy it. If my friend doesnt come to his senses (and he will tell me where its at!) Im gonna go get that sucker!!!!!

Well I cant in good conscience buy it out from under him. I do have to work with this guy 5 days a week plus Im not sure where the car is located.

Any 1st gen Firebird is worth getting for $2500. All of them are nice. The body styling is so classic everybody can't stop looking at them. I know, I have one.:D
