I want to hit a 12.50 with a bolt on LT1, right now I see 8.79s on 1.9 sixty foots. Car weighs in at 3660 w/ driver. Right now I have Cold air, Vigi 3?00, Loud Mouth and thats it. I figure Jet Hot long tubes, suspension, skinnies, et streets and lighten the car out, I should be able to hit my goal of a 12.50. I was also thinking about getting some 3.73s to replace my 3.23s. I want to try and hit this before I go in to teh motor.

Hal QA1s, come on big baller with your CC306, I'm still rolling the original Decarbons :D Which after 11 years and 60K miles is deader than Pauly shores acting career.
I was thinking about some Comp 3 ways in the back. Most the suspension stuff I'm going to try and get off the boards used, like the panhard bar and the torque arm. I agree on !Sway bar, that and skinnies should help out a good bit. I figure it's all in that sixty foot, If I can cut like a 1.7, I should be cool. :drive:

My car ran a 13.417 with a 1.019 60ft and a 1/8 mile ET of 8.618 race weight is 3720 with a 1/4 tank of gas.
BTW mine is a 94 TA GT A4 with a Yank 2800,SLP Shorties,CB and Ram air.
The run was on BFG DR's 275/40/17
So your in the 13.5 to 13.6 range now.
Every tenth you want to knock off is 10 hp or 100lbs.
So if you can lighten the car 150 - 200lbs
Add headers, electric waterpump, and roller rockers and 3.73's.
Pull off the 1.7 60ft(ET Streets)
You should have your goal met:cool:

3.73's will help you out a good bit since you already have a good converter. With traction the 3.73's will help you cut .2 to .3 in the 60' alone which would net you .3 to .4 in overall ET. Normally .1 in 60' reduction is worth .15 in overall ET.
The long tubes will give you a good boost in tq as well to help with the 60' and more power on the top end as well.

I don't see it happening, you are atleast a second off. With a 8.356 1/8th 1.917 60' I only ran a 13.019. You still have alot of ground to make up.

They might do better than that. With my 3.23's my best run was like 13.475 @100.27 on a 1.855 60'. My FIRST run with my 3.73's (no change other than the gears) was a 13.216 @ 103.97 on a 1.871 60'. :) Then my tranny went the next week after I pulled a 1.762 60', so I am hoping that my tranny was slipping a little on that 13.216 run. :)

I run 12.50's with 3.73 gears, hooker lts, TCI 2800 stall, xe 224/230 cam, 1.6 rr, skinnies, cut out, slp cold air, pro-kit, kyb drag struts. I think that is all. Now I need to make my signature.
