Ready to step up another level...
Yet they're a bit over what I feel comfortable spending right now...although I could, it wouldn't really be smart...
Next year. ;)
Probably a 2000ish with 30-40k miles or so...6 speed...targa top...black interior... :)

I've pretty well made up my mind on getting a 2002 ZO6, silver, low miles. I've been watching one with 6,000 miles it started at $35.9k and now it's down to $33.9k. :hmm:

that's a pretty nice price :hmm: all it needs is an airbox, long tubes, and a cam and you're good to go

Having 2 toys and paying storage and shit just is not worth the time, I can't drive the Talon on the street, can't register it due to emissions and it's too fast to be driving shit like that on the street anyhow IMO. And I'm totally fed up with the SS trying to keep it clean.
It's just a matter of getting serious and selling both at this point.
Whatever I get will have to be it for darn near forever, I'm getting to old to be paying on shit like this and I'm looking at a house move next year or so.
I figure a ZO6 is nice enough to be satisified for a long, long time. A FEW minor mods and fuck it, it's fast enough.
For the amount of money I've sometimes put into performance over the last 30~ years I honestly don't think I've always gotten the fun, enjoyment, bang for the buck out of it.
Guess I'm getting old...:sulk:

I really dont like the way FRCs look, and I like the concept of a removable top.
The only FRC i'll ever get is a Z06.

Any reason for that? besides the fact that it's lighter, and stiffer. Is there any other pro's to a FRC?

I love the way the FRC look too, but if I own a Vette, it has to have a removeable top.

I can see a removeable top for you guys that live in nice weather areas, but if you're in the midwest like me you don't get enough nice weather to really enjoy it IMO.

like i said on the vette - long tubes and a nice cam with custom tuning. 400+rwhp is decent enough for a daily driver :D

If/when I get a vette... i'm going to put my SS back to stock and sell the parts except the intake manifold.....that would go into the Vette..
Other than that, a catback exhaust and possibly wheels (97-99 wheels look like crap) will be my only mods.
Auto or M6 won't really influence my choice, although i'd prefer a manual.

It's final... All mods will cease...even the last minute appearance mods I was going to do...
I'm just going to edit out the AIR and EGR codes and that's it!
Gotta put money aside for the down payment!
