Its not that bad. With a 6 speed and some 4.10's or 3.73's I bet you will get 20+mpg.

I just built one on KBB.com for 30k flat for the AWD version SS. Thats with the 2k rebate right now until Sept 30th. From what I understand the 06 models trucks and suv's have Employee pricing right now. Dont' know if that is any better than invoice plus 2k rebate or not. Defintly saving up.

Seen it at the Dallas Autoshow and fell in love.

It's basically a 4L60E with some beefed up parts from what I have read.

The TB SS could very well be my next vehicle as long as they have done something about the shitty seats that come in the Trailblazer.

I wouldn't concentrate on what it runs in the quarter right now coming from the factory. Cause with Torque management and all that other kinda crap its gonna suck. But I think with a few tweaks and a little mod here and a little mod there it could be a sleeper.
