I need help and opinions

I need to know if i should just drop in a ls1 engine in my v6 firebird. Any suggestions? Is it even possible?

well i was going to do the same thing before i sold my bird , either way you will need Suspension work , need a new transmisssion if it is not auto, and i think that is about it. other the way is turboing the car, both ways need suspension work done . hope it works for you. if you do it keep me updated.:drive:

Would the ls1 fit in the engine area of the v6 firebird some one reply with deatils plz.

i am not 100% sure but i am pretty sure it does fit. but remeber you have to take the engine like the ls1 , out from under the car.
for the suspension , sub frame connecters , lower control arms and other things.

The V8 comes out of virtually the same car. However, the V8 cars come with the other stuff that a V8 needs; like a bigger radiator for the added heat/capacity and different springs to support the extra weight.
