Am I Nats worthy? If I was a straight TA, I would probably fall under heavy modified...so I don't know if I could roll with the big boys

how many visual mods do you have? (things that were not on a stock car... decals, parts, etc. this is outside the car, interior, and engine bay. i got counted for things like decals, rear filler panel, exhaust tips, stb, lid, starter button, etc)

the rules and counts for each class are posted up on their site. the break up years and number of mods for classes (1-5 mods = light modifed, etc). but some things like custom paint will bump you all the way up to heavy custom right away.

Vettes should be red, TA's should be black :story:
But in reality, the only way for me to make a decent showing at the Nats, I would need to put my girl in for a good color sanding and polishing :sulk:

Nah.. I can say that I ever tried.... and surely wouldn't want to test on your car, but from the PICs it doesn't look like you need it.. Upclose can you see runs or stuff like that?

After my accident and the whole car being repainted, they must have buffed it with 20 grit sandpaper. I have never been able to get the swirls out. Also, when at the rear end shop, they let a bunch of welding slag bounce off the fender and tiny dents/pin holes are now in the rear pass. fender. They also got a bunch of stains on the car from differential fluid on their hands. This ate away at the clear coat. I am going to get them to pay to fix this stuff, but it is just disheartening. I could never "show" my car with it in this condition. Most people wouldn't even notice, but me and I am sure you guys and the judges at Nats certainly would :sulk:

Well if I get my company truck at the end of next June like I should, then the next day the TA will go into the shop to get every inch perfected :yup: That SHOULD give me enough time to get everything together for nats :xfings:
