Happy to do it. I had to break down and buy a hat, my ever increasing forehead still got burned. You wait till you see the pic's of Rob and your engine compartments.;)

Yes, I think the judges wanted some fresh winners. It may have been the exterior mods that Butch did with the contrasting silver paint, that did it for him. His engine bay wasn't as detailed as yours or Robs but he came with a unique style. Rob had that SOM paint glowing, and you can't get any more bling than your car. Had to be a tough class to judge. :cool:

It was like a beauty pagent--the judges picked what they liked.
It's almost as if they didn't understand that the class was controled my the # of changes from a stock car( 15 or more) not whether you had custom paint or not.

I have no complaints--I put my best out there -- it wasn't what they were looking for. I had a great time with my friends and when I look back on it that's way more important that a show placing.
