Going to the track in a couple weeks and curious of what I should run

99 Transam, 3500 stall, tranny cooler, lid, pacesetter longtubes, full exhaust, 10.4mm wires, and nitto's...hoping for mid to low 12's...think its possible?

If you get a good launch, and everything is dialed in correctly, I would say mid 12's are certainly doable.

is this your 1st time?

honestly, between the new driver, lousiana heat and humidity, i'd say low 13's on your first trip. with more experience and better weather, mid 12's shouldn't be out of the question.

let us know how you do

i'll predict around an 8.2 @ 85mph in the 1/8th and 12.9-13.1 @ 106-108.

I ran an 8.34 @ 84mph with a half decent launch on nitto drag radials. This was in 2500+ D.A.

Looks like we have very similiar mods.

I know of some guys that were 5 tenths off their best e.t. because of the heat and humidity. If you run high twelves now that would be very good.
