I Hate Pontiac's...Light's Again..

This will be the third time I have had to replace the entire turn signal assembly on my 01 WS6. Actually, the third time the stealership will be replacing them. I broke down and bought a new right side indicator housing (without the seam down the middle of the lens), and now I'll probably have to buy a new housing for the left side too!

Anyone know where I can get information on the design specifications for these housings? I still have the original, with the seam in the lens. I've read traffic here that this seam is designed into the lens. Why? 'Preciate the help folks, I'm going to fight Pontiac on this one. Shouldn't have to pay for their **ck ups in Engineering!!

theres a seam in the middle...umm on wonder why they cracked. i just bought mine online for like 20 bucks a side. and there is no seam down the middle.

These lights do suck. I needed new ones too and after walking out of the dealer with my finger held high I was in Wal-mart and saw a two part epoxy for $1.29. I placed the light housings in a box with the lens facing up and after mixing the epoxy together I poured it over the lenses and let it dry. They now have a hard as nails coating over them and are nice and shiney. Looks real good too and after four months there is no discoloration or anything.
Nothing can crack them now and the problem is solved.
