When I turn the radio off, I can hear the motor working but the antenna doesn't go down. What's the problem guys? :(

There is a plastic antenna "cord" that has ribs to go up and down on the gear. Chances are the cord is stripped. Happens to all GM power window motors.

same thing is happenin to mine.
IF you really need it down, I can manually feed it down, and at a certain point the motor will do the rest.

Maybe its the antenna motor thats messed up.Or clean the antenna once in a while. If you drive you car a lot in all kinds of weather the attenna shaft gets dirty causing it to jam up.

then put a switch on it so it doesn't have to go up and down all the time. i usually listen to cd's.... no reason for the antenna to be up. heck - almost all my radio stations come in fine with it down also.
