antenna question...peeeeeeeezzzzzz

so i was just thinking of adding a switch to the power antenna wire. that way i could controll wheather the antenna went up or not. but i was thinking, doesnt the antenna motor work off of a pulse? so if i did put a switch inline to the power antenna motor, i would have to turn off the radio, flip the switch and turn the radio back on for it to go up.......right?????

yeah thats what i was going to do. i was just wondering thou. if the antenna is down and you flip the switch, it will just go up? you dont need to power off the radio and flip the switch for the antenna to come up? does this make sense?
