today started raining on my way home....I turned the lights on...no biggie...when I got home I turned the lights off..they came down but the right headlight started to make a noise on the motor almost like still trying to bring the headlight down...stopped after 5 seconds....and then when I cliked the lock button on my key remote instead of the usual flash the corners lights and the horn going off twice and locking the car...the freaking headlight poped open and closed...making the same noise on the motor again for 5 seconds...now everytime I push on the lock or unlock button the headlight pop open and close making that noise on the motor and the lights flash etc....WTF????

Door gears are stripped, ...
Search "Headlight doors" or something like that, you'll find confirmation.

Yep the plastic nylon gears inside the motor actuator for the headlights strip out easily. It's a common problem with these headlights.
People use brass gears but i forgot where to get them. They didn't work for me so i ended up buying a new motor and it has worked since. That was around a year ago.

They do that, to let you know the gear(s) are screwed. It's normal.
