You got anymore pics of your progress.

My only concern with running the stock ECM and intake is getting the gauge cluster to work properly. But all I need a gauge cluster for is Tach and important sensors. So I wonder how you disable VATS and all the other crap.

If I can't figure this out by the time I go to install the motor then I am just gonna get the Edelbrock Carborator Intake for the LSx motors.

But I would much rather have the motor running on EFI instead. That way I could have a more precise tuning ability.

i am live ohio too and i am looking to do the same project. how much was the car? where you find it ? i want to do a convertion of a v6 to a ls1 or just get a wrecked ls1 . but i need a f-body first.
