I'm tired of my crappy sounding monsoon system and have decided that my next mod is going to be an audio system. I need to know if a 10w7 will sound good and provide enough bass or should I get a 12w7? I have a 2000 camaro convertible and don't want to be heard a block away I just want to be able to hear every note of my music. I just want it to sound good. I am going to mount it in a custom box where the spare tire was. Help me out. Thanks.

well a 10w7 is pretty damn loud... i think even a 10w6 would satisfy what you are looking for

It's a JL Audio Subwoofer. According to funkmaster flex it's what all the big dogs have.

I have the 10W7 in my Fbody and it is enough trust me, people mistake it for 15s sometimes.

A ten inch subwoofer made by JL AUDIO (their most recent model)

Isn't the W7 more of a LOUD sub than a SQ sub? I ordered an Infinity Perfect 10.1 a few days go since I want more of a SQ sub. I listen to a lot of rock, so I want some good SQ.

I don't know, if that's the case then maybe I don't want a w7. I listen to mainly rock too.
