good looking car, i just don't like the way the top swells up when you drive a vert. Have there ever been any Formula verts made! That would be nice.

I'm debating whether to go with a Raptor hood, or WS6 hood on my Formula. But the WS6 looks great on your car.. :2thumbs:

If you want my advice, I'd say find an OEM WS6 hood. I've never been happy with the fit and finish of a Raptor hood, and I've had two of them.

I had those side decals on mine at one time too... i took em off, with my top checkered stripes on it, it was just all to cluttered looking on the rear... :shrug: but they were nice for about 6 months :)

I thought about getting the checkered stripes but figured it would be too much. I ended up getting blackbird stripes to balance it out.

Yeah, it's a Suncoast Creations "Raptor" hood... which is gonna be on the car for all of about another week or so. I'm taking it off and switching to a OEM WS6 hood.

I really don't like the fit and finish on the Raptor, so I'm changing to something that will give the car a little cleaner look.

Yeah, there were only two Formula 'verts made in '98. They were custom jobs obviously made for GM execs. One of them even had AQ9 seats (not available on a Formula). Both were red, both WS6s.

They did not make any other LS1 Formula verts.

Am i the only one to notice that the title is "The Formula TREAD"

anyhow, here are a few of mine.

By the way, its creeping up on 100k but still lookin good. Except for the imfamous silver bumper fade or whatever happens to our silver firebirds that causes the front bumper to change colors or perhaps not change colors with the rest of the car. I can't figure it out, but it irritates me.

ha ha ha, i know....i went through a time period of about 6 months where i didn't know what i wanted and was forced to buy a bunch of wheels trying to get what i thought i wanted, i am finally going to get some grand sport wheels, i am being very picky as to making sure they are oem wheels so it is taking a while but i have it down, final wheels should be on the car in a week or so.

btw...i had chrome zr1's on it when i bought it that i never took pics of, but they looked great, one of my favorites...i just like the black wheels more.
