Hey guys, I have a pretty bad miss above 5k rpm under WOT. It is really noticable in 2nd gear (Automatic) since that gear winds out longer. I know it is costing me at least a couple of tenths in the quarter. I will check the plugs to see if they are fouled out, which they do from time to time. All other ignition is a year old or so (coil, wires, opti, fuel filter, pcm) and EGR valve and solenoid are brand new. This is the only area in the powerband having trouble (no surging at low RPM or rough idle). I have a SES light on that points to A.I.R circuit failure. I don't believe this would cause the miss, my guess is maybe I am not getting enough fuel pressure at high RPM's? Intake seems very dirty as well; if this points to any clues. I run SeaFoam throught the intake (via booster vacuum line) every few months to clean it out. O2 sensors are new too. Intake manifold is leaking, would that cause a significant vacuum leak that would cause this?
