I'm putting a new cam in my stock LS1 (Lingenfelter GT2-3).

I need to know what push rods I should chnge to?

I'm also going to change the pulley. Any ideas on that as well?

Help guys !!

Are you going to have any work done to your heads? If not, then you'll want 7.450" pushrods. If you're getting your heads milled, even a little bit, stick with 7.400" rods.

As for pullies, the ASP is tried and true, but March just came out with a new one, and I still havent heard any feedback on it. You could be a guinea pig for us! :D

I don't know about being a guinea. The heads are going to stay stock. If I get any head work done later will I be okay with 7.450" push rods?

Isn't the stock length 7.400"?

Yeah, but if he goes with an aftermarket cam with a smaller base circle, he'll have to use longer pushrods...unless he has his heads milled, then that would offset the smaller base circle, thus necessitating stock length pushrods.

How big of deal would it be to use 7.400" Pushrods with a smaller base circle cam? Not sure of Thunder's base circles on their cams, but they recommend 7.400".

exact stock PR length is 7.38 but thunder recommends and sells the 7.400 PR's. thats what im using right now :).

my understand is:

7.400 with unmilled heads
7.350 with milled heads up to .030 ( )
