I figured I would make a post over here since it has been a while (posted on the other board under Red SS Barchetta).
Hopefully this weekend we will finish the project as Constrictor has been helping all along. I am using PP S2 5.7 heads, LS6 intake, FLP headers and a TR 224 114 cam.
I am glad to see a new home for all the refugees.

Actually, we plan on doing something cooler. I won't go into too much details, but Constrictor and I basically video taped us taking everything apart (install is just reverse), and plan on trying to put it together for people who plan on doing a heads/cam swap themselves. It will probably turn out to be comical. But the initial startup will be on video for sure!!

Well, finished getting both heads on, intake is on but needs torqued, and we put the headers on (almost - see external post). UD pulley is on. Maybe next weekend. It is amazing how one little bolt can sidetrack you for 30-60 minutes!!

Update: almost done. Need to put together the front of the motor, add the radiator, hook up the electrical stuff and move the O2 sensors to the headers. Add fluids and it should be ready for start up.
All I can say is, I went to the gym this morning and had a HARD work out and Constrictor wants to work on the car during the daytime (which was fine thanks to the weather). But I am totally exhausted. I am both excited and apprehensive about tomorrow..........D-Day!! :D
Many thanks to Constrictor for all his help (I was slacking a bit today). :tired:
Hope tomorrow goes smooth and quick!!
