If this is the wrong forum then mods please move it. Anyway, I just replaced the left headlamp motor on my T/A and now it isn't coming back up again. (It's been fixed for about a week or two now) Is there anything I should look for except a blown fuse or the power being disconnected to it? Ill check back in the morning, thanks.

Did you check the wiring in the harness to make sure everything was ok? My headlight went out, and I went out and bought a new one, just to find that one of the metal connectors in the harness connection had corroded so badly, the wire had broken off. Just fixed that, and everything was good.

As Element said, those wires are suspect to a bad connection because of corrosion. When I replaced my headlight motor, I put it all back together and I had absolutely NO power to the headlights or motor. Nothing...so I took apart the weatherpak connector, and used a small file and scraped away the corrosion, and put it back together, and its been working fine ever since.

you also might wanna check and make sure the cover isn't hitting anything... these things are so touchy that the least bit of resistance will stop them from coming up so make sure it's adjusted ok ;)
but :werd: on the corrosion :(

I got mine on ebay, was something like $55 shipped, and went out the very next day.
