Flex-a-lite makes a controller but 180 is the lowest temp you can have the fans cut on though. I hooked mine up with basic componets from the autoparts store.

Doe's the truck pcm have this same out put?

Yes the PCM has the pinout but you have to add a pin/wire to the harness to mate with the PCM. You can get the pins at RadioShack or any electronics parts store. You will also have to have edit programming to enable the fans on the truck pcms as well. I plan on doing mine this way soon.

Other that the drain on then electrical system, No. I know of several guys that have thier's wired like that.

i dont have mine hooked to my AC compressor.
that way if im doing 70 on the highway i dont need them.
they are only hooked to the temp switch and my override:cool:
