driving the nissan. i passed the cop while he was stopped at an intersection, he pulled in behind me. i could tell he was running my plate and would only be a matter of time before he pulled me over. sure enough - 2 blocks later...
him "sir i pulled you over because you don't have a muffler on this car."
me "is that why this car makes so much noise???" j/k - i just said "yes sir".
him "you know you need to get that fixed.. any reason why you haven't done that yet?"
me "no sir, just haven't gotten to it yet".
him " have you received a warning from the city of dublin about that yet"
me "no sir" (do not mention that i've been pulled over at least 4 times and 1 ticket by the city of hilliard, heck - i have a written warning ticket sitting somewhere in the trash in the backseat)
him "let me see your license. i'm going to run a quick check and as long as you're telling the truth i'll be back with a warning for you".
he came back, handed me my license and said "i know it can take some time to save up for a new exhaust but you really do need to get that fixed. if you get pulled over again we'll have to write you a ticket for that". maybe he thought i was a poor college student or something :dunno:
so it was cool. didn't even ask me for my registration or proof of insurance  here in ohio if you get pulled over you must first tell the office that you have a ccw license and wether or not you have a firearm with you - i started to tell him and he cut me off (said "i already know you have a ccw")- never even asked if i had a firearm on me or with me :dunno:
so anywya, that makes at least 5 stops now for no exhaust on the nissan. only 1 ticket, 1 written warning, 3 verbals...

I got pulled over too while having a CCW, like you I am supposed to tell the officer that I had one.But even after all the times I told myself what I am supposed to do I forgot.Maybe thats why when the one cop was asking for my ID the other was on the passinger side of my car with his hand on his gun.
Because I was going to work that was one of the few times I didnt have my gun with me.
