im thinking of selling my edit (unused single lisense) and picking up the new hp tuner vcm. seems like a great product and the guys over there have been very helpful. but then efi is comming out with a tuner program with no ETA that i know of as yet. I love efi products but i dont want to have to wait seeing as a need a tuner program soon.

It never rains but it pours ;) decisions..decisions ... JRP, you have an EDIT version you never hooked up and licensed .. now that is restraint :worthy:

ya, only reason i havent used it is because i bought it (un)used from a tuner who decided to spring for the unlimited version. then when transfering the info over to carputing i found out it was for a 99 pcm and i have a 98 :bashhead:, and i never sent it back to carputing for a swap.

I've been checking the order page a few times a day
ever since they announced. If they do open it up for
orders today (the latest of the "later..." dates) my
dollar will be down.

Then if/when EFILive comes out with theirs, I'll go and
buy that too, and sell off whichever's weaker after I
have a chance to test them head-to-head (but before
I publish my review ;) ) If TunerCat ever gets real too
(for LS-1) I might just go broke....

I think I'm going to end up with it. I was going to go with Diablo untill I saw the HP Tuner product.

I need it quick, I had a good sized cam and headers installed and the 'puter ain't all that happy right now. Wish they would hurry up and get it out for people to review {don't really want to be the guinne pig}.

Just remember:

"PCM tuning IS brain surgery!"

(I think I am going to copyright that one !) :D

Make sure you trust who's holding the scalpel!

If EFILive didn't say that they were going to reward their existing customers then I'd go with HP Tuners product..

I already have EFILive so the additional scanner in HP Tuners is nice, but not necessary. I'll wait to see what kind of deal they give and if it's not significant enought I'll probably go with HP Tuners because it's Made (or coded) in the USA so to speak..

Nothing against the Aussies, I just live here

It's getting to be like watching crab races; they
mostly seem to just go sideways....

From the vidoe you posted you need to drop the pan and look at you rod bolts before you do anything.
