wheres the best place to get quality decals? Im not talking about ricer decals, i mean the ones like the rear pontiac insert, the 'trans am' overlay and the bumper bird overlay.

not yet man.. im doin my research now because i want one after my learners liscence period is up. Sadly enough we have our share of cocky ass rice here.. but i love american muscle
While i got your guys attention, if i were to get a standard t/a instead of a ws6 would i save alot on insurance. other than the ram air, exhaust and rims, what differences are there between the ws6 and the standard? Its not worth starting a new thread for. thanks

I dont think there is any difference in insurance from a ws6 and a reg t/a. Only differences are like you said Hood, Suspension, Rims, and the emblem. Unless you want a real ws6 badly i would go with a reg t/a and just put a ws6 hood on it.

well, a ws6 hood will cost me about $1000 to purchase and get painted so im not sure what the best way to go is. I've seen ws6's in my price range as well.
The reason i was asking about the insurance is because i saw an ad where the seller advertised a regular t/a with ws6 rims and ram air setup and he claimed that you "only pay insurance for a regular t/a when you are actually getting the benefits of a ws6" .. i dont know if theres any truth to that. thanks for the info guys

I'm not sure about the Insurance, but you would only have the Hood and wheels, but still have the stock suspension.. :dunno:

It might be a little higher for the WS6 because of the replacement cost difference but not much. The insurance is going to be high anyway for someone your age. Stay with American Muscle and live your dream!

when looking up insurance stuff. it only comes up as a trans am or formual. there is nothing that sticks it out from a ws6. so the insurance is not any higher.

Some of the ones I bought from them have been on the car almost 3 years---they are chrome and have not faded.

i painted my front license plate bird. i wish i could get a pic. wait till this weekend. since the pewter "ram air" decals are 'gunmetal' i painted my ram air and heat extracters and my bird the same color.
oh yeah, not to beat this dead horse. but if you get a regular t/a ... dont get a ws-6 hood or a firehawk. /rant off hahahaha

Does anyone know of a place that does stuff in Brushed Aluminum? I had them on my GTP but can't find anyone that has that vinyl for F-body.
