thats a little low, I figure 45k. Loaded will be mid 50's, Vert will be mid to high 50's and Z06 will probably hit 60k.

Verts cost more than the Z0's.... And are they even going to have a Z06 in the first two years?

I heard they're going to make the z0h 500hp and it won't come out for almost another year. :dunno:

I saw something in motor trend about it being like $51,000, not sure if that was an as tested price or base. It also said something about a hardtop convertible was a $2,000 option.

the vert right now is 7k more then the hard top, so figure 54-56k for a Vert, more for the power top. The Z06 is more then a Vert now. Z06 will show up next year at Detroits NAIAS with a reported 500hp 7.0(427) 3v VVT engine. The engine will be a bit more, and I would like to see some CF pannels such as hood and deck. I expect to see it below 3k lbs. I say that the Z06 model comes in at around 60k.

One guy on this site was first in line to get a c6. He said it was 53k.

53k? Thats a lot of options. Probably the Z51 with DVD nav. I can see that as possible.

I don't know what options he wanted.

He said that originally he was second in line for the first c6 the dealership would get. But the guy that was first in line wanted a vert, so that guy has to wait a few more months to get it. He said that he was told 53k was msrp.

I dont think MSRP has been set just yet, but the car isnt coming for a few months. I doubt that this was base MSRP. Thats almost like a 10k upgrade from C5 ot C6.

Yea I don't know either.

It was probably just the car salesmen guessing a price, or they have already figured out how much they want to mark them up for.

I was first in line for the 35th Camaro and they set up a MSRP sheet and everything for me. When all knowledge of the 35th was official they had to adjust their 'estimate'. They did not have prior knowledge of costs and I would expect the same from the C6.
We'll know when they know.

car and driver this month has the msrp at $1000 LESS than last years base. The Z55 package will add $1700 and the Z51 package will add $1500.

The 2006 model year is when the ZO6 returns it could cost as high as $65,000 but you will be getting a 427 500 hp engine in a 3000 lb car. With carbon fiber panels and a functional ram air scoop.

Remember these are good guesses mixed with rumors and fact. But it this engine combo is true, high mid to high 11s @ 124 in the 1/4 and 0-60 in 3.70s are possible.

geez. It took me cam, full exhaust and some suspension to get into the 11's. Have you heard on how many they are going to make?
