i did mine... didn't take long, used a 2x5 precut MDF board from home depot, ~$5.00. bought carpet from walmart ~$7.00 and some grommets from homedepot 2 for ~$1.50 .
came out looking like this, and im going to completely redo it because I need my amp lower so my milhouse box can flip back.

I don't have any pics to add... sorry... but I did just finish my own amp rack that looks alot like the one in that pic.
Basically, you need a box cutter, yard stick, a big piece of cardboard and a black marker. Make a template with the cardboard by measuring, cutting + test fitting. Once you have template that fits well, trace that out on your MDF or fiber board. Then cut away the excess. I even made some cut outs of my amps and other components w/ the extra cardboard so I could see how my stuff would fit.

Here's mine... based on I_EAT_Z28's plans from the other site.

Here's a few pics of the back of my car. Sorry for not having a fully mounted up and installed pic but this gives you the idea.
The bottom has a hinge on it so it can swing forward some and on top we put the blocks of MDF stacked up so we had something to screw the top of the amp rack into. I am not a fan of using the tail lights for holding anything so we (my brother and I) came up with this as a solution. HTH! If you'd like to see more pics just say so and I'll see what I can find for pics when I get home.

I didnt follow his dimensions exactly because my Pioneer amps were taller than his original spec, so I made mine taller and deeper.

Ted J, how did you attach the mounts to the rear wall? Just drill holes and use bolts/nuts? More details would be great! I have stripped one of the nuts that holds the rear tail lights on.
My rack has been a work in progress for a long time! It is physically in my car right now, but kinda being held on my a thread. Eventually, it will be covered in vinyl with my amp, cap, dist. and grounding blocks all mounted on it and all the wires running through grommets, etc with some red cold cathode lighting. The rack is hindged so I can swing it out and prop it up to tune it. This is just to power my 12" in a custom built stealth box on the driver side. I'll post pics when it is done!

We used sheet metal screws, you can see in the one pic I have three of them holding the stacked up MDF in place. The bottom part is also screwed on with sheet metal screws and had a hinge on it so it can go foward like that. My brother and I didn't want to use the tail light bolts so this was the quickest solution we could come up with. It does move just a little on the bottom which cost us a point at finals but overall it does good for how quick it was to make and put in.

www.subthump.com has them, I got one with my mill house box. I have it secured to the sides with angles. I'll post pics when I get it back from the shop (dent removal mod..lol).

if for 01 pewter... not necessary, but 1200 watts towards a W7 isn't too bad, for not losing t-top storage :)

Looks like a flat board cut around the trunk latch bump and then two pieces of wood angled on top to cover the gap between the board and the rear wall of the trunk.
