Since this is my first post in awhile since my new car, i just wanna say hello to everyone. I used to be a member on the old board (ls1.com) since about 2001. I used to have a 2000 Camaro Z-28 monterrey maroon metallic, t-top, automatic, with a stall converter. Last November i was out on an evening stroll when i passed a dealer (nehls chevrolet) here in marshall texas when i noticed a silver metallic convertible ram air trans-am, i blew it off at first thinking it was a automatic, but much to my surprise when i approched the car i saw the hurst shifter!!! I had to have this car, i always wanted a 6-speed, i dont street race or track race so i knew this was the car for me. after about a week of trying to get financed, i finally got it done and the car has been with me since, sitting in my garage covered up. everything is stock i do plan on different gears (4.10s) and even tho the stock exhaust sounds much nicer that my camaros stock exhaust im thinking about a magnaflow exhaust, nothing loud. My original question is, do i have a rare car? I love my car.:D
