Anyone have any NOS 5177 setup pics on a LS1? Thanks, I'm trying to get some ideas of how the wiring and solenoids are setup.:help:

I used to have a 5177, but you would not be able to see any of it if I was to post pictures.

Just spend a little bit of time out side, with the hood, up coming up with clever places to hide it.

It's more fun that way.

Here's some not so close (or recent) pics of my 5177 kit.
I've recently set the purge up to purge out the hood nostrils.

That's what I was looking for. Some good ideas for hiding the setup. Me and another guy are looking at doing the install ourselves. Keep'em coming if you got them.

i like how you have it hidden, how hard do you think it would be to just semi-hide the 5177 kit so that the normal person wouldnt notice it?

Have the pic hosted somewhere. You can register on www.ls1camaro.net and they offer free image hosting. After you have a pic hosted and a valid URL, use the IMG tag in the post reply. :)

The jet (expansion valve) is by the bottle after the solenoid, so the line is not pressurized and doesn’t get that cold. The line itself is also a very heavy duty the same type used with air bags

The car is a basic bolt on car and has gone the best of 12.64 @ 109.9 and has dynoed at 330hp/350ftlbs
Mods listed below 4 were suspension mods

SLP Lid,K&N Air Filter, Flowmaster Muffler, Flow Tech cut out, DiabloSport Predator
2400 Stall,Short belt, H&R 1.25 Springs, BMR LCA Brackets,
BMR Adjustable Panhard Rod, Nitto Drag Radials, Compucar bottle in a bag

why hide it (except for hardcore...he has good reason)??
the way i see it, if your competition has a clue they will know if you spray. i made mine obvious...ok maybe a little flashy.
the purge is the best. i made a dual purge from 2 solenoids. it has about a 30 foot purge. wastes a lot tho...but sure looks kick ass.

Don't know yet, this combination is brand new, gonna take it down the track the end of this month, still have to dyno tune and get the right gears in the rear, but within 3 weeks I'll have #'s. Last motor went 11.4 on radials NA, this one should be a bit faster.:D ;)
