summarized story. last summer on the dyno i noticed my rear drivers wheel was wobbling a little bit. i figured probably from my guardrail swiping incident. so i checked it all out and couldnt figure out why it was scraping. so far i have replaced the rotor, caliper, axleshaft, wheel bearing, axle seals. and the bitch still squeaks. i've also rotated another wheel over there...still squeaking...any thoughts on what might be making this very annoying noise? it gets faster as i accelerate and stops completely when i push the brakes. so i'm thinking the pads against the caliper is doing it...but i've replaced those and i know they are good..:help:

Have you check to see if the diff is straight? Can you actually see any sort of wear marks on anything? How about the brake mounting plate?
I'm sure you realize that this means that something somewhere is just not quite right.

my guess would be that the caliper is not sitting on the rotor correctly. as was said above, sounds like it could be that the mounting plate is bent. It doesnt take much to create some noise on disc brakes.

I'm gonna have to go with 5.0 on thiss one. I would check your backing plate to rotor clearance.
