I am new to this site and would like to get input on my upcoming project. Here is the project:
66 Nova SS
LS2 and T56
Heidt's front clip w/air susp
Yearone trans crossmember
Stitz rear subframe w/Ford 9" and air susp
Vintage Air setup
Dakota Digital gauge cluster
Ididit column
Rockvalley stock replacement gas tank w/EFI in-tank pump
Griffin alum radiator
Speartech engine/throttle/cruise harness
Painless body rewire
No smog control issues (it's exempt in Calif.)
With all of this I have a number of basic questions before I jump into the project. Here are the questions:
What is the correct angle of the engine/trans?
Which motor mounts to use?
Which PCM to use and where to mount?
Which DBW throttle pedal assembly will work and will fit the best?
Any issues getting the T56 to fit (any tunnel cutting req'd)?
Can I get the shifter to come through the stock automatic console?
Which MAF sensor to use and where to mount?
Best way to mount the clutch master and connect to stock pedal (manual brakes)?
Which acc/pulley setup to use (stock Vette, etc.)?
Radiator configuration (size and location of outlets)?
Headers to use that would fit?
What controls to use with Ididit column to get the cruise to work?
Any issues with the Dakota gauges and LS2/T56 setup?
Which flywheel and clutch setup to use?
